This project tasked us to create a sci-fi world using Adobe Photoshop. This assignment was for my AME 210 Media Editing (2024 Spring) class. For this Sci-Fi Photoshop project, I decided to create a world where robots have taken over. To do this, I searched for a desolate desert landscape as my backdrop because I thought it would look better and would be easier to control than a city. After I found my backdrop I found pictures of robots that looked like they would fit in my scene. Then for some other details, I found some abandoned cars to put into the background. For the personal images I added, I found a picture of my car that I added with the other abandoned cars. I also had a picture of my giant stuffed bear that I put in the driver's seat because I thought that would be funny. For a little extra detail, I had a close-up picture of a bird from my bird feeder camera so I ended up putting that on the ground searching for a worm. Finally, I had a picture of my disc golf basket which has a base that I cropped and manipulated to look like a giant antenna. All of these things come together in my composition to create a world in which robots take over.
