Artist Bio:
⁤        I’m Chase Kelln, a filmmaker based in Tempe, Arizona, with a specialization in editing, particularly for short films and social media content. I’m originally from Sacramento, California, and I’m currently pursuing a BFA in Film and Media Production at Arizona State University after spending two years at Folsom Lake College.
My creative journey started back in high school, where I taught myself the fundamentals of filmmaking through hands-on experimentation. I primarily work with video, audio, and photo, but editing is where I feel most at home. One of my proudest achievements was co-founding the YouTube channel Halos In The Infield, where I helped shape its creative identity during my two years with the team. The channel currently boasts over 1.2k subscribers and was a great outlet for my early creative work.
I’ve always looked for opportunities to grow, whether through collaboration or independent projects. At the core of my work is a passion for storytelling. I’m driven by the challenge of bringing ideas to life through visual media, and I’m constantly seeking ways to push my craft forward.
Artist Statement:
I’m a determined filmmaker who works primarily with video, audio, and photo. My work explores a variety of themes, often shaped by the unique needs of each project. I’m best known for my editing, which frequently includes visual effects, detailed sound design, and the occasional camera trick to elevate the storytelling.
My creative process is spontaneous and emotionally driven. I like to take inspiration from movies, video games, and TV shows, and I let those influences guide the mood and tone of my work. I often create based on how I’m feeling in the moment, inviting viewers to experience the full reach of my imagination.
As I pursue my BFA at Arizona State University, I continue to refine my skills and push myself creatively. Ultimately, I’m working toward a career in film or television where I can contribute to meaningful projects and let my creativity thrive.
I’m just getting started, and I can’t wait to show you what’s next.
